Pictures and projects

Pictures selected from Photos or Files, background removal, photo enhancement, measurements, and saved projects are processed on your device. LifeSize does not upload your imported private pictures to an AI service or to a Lincoln Technologies server. The system Photos picker gives the app only the pictures you choose. Projects include the image, optional retained original and enhanced versions, source credit, name, and print settings. They remain in the app's local storage. Device backups may contain this storage according to your Apple backup settings.

Optional picture search

Search is optional. When you search free artwork, your query is sent over HTTPS to Openverse. The service receives the network information needed to respond, including your IP address and request information, and may retain service/security logs under its own policies. Thumbnails and selected public pictures are requested from Openverse and the picture's original host. The hosts receive normal network request information. LifeSize sends no advertising identifier, account identifier, or private imported photo with these requests. Search results, license labels, and source availability come from third parties and may be incomplete. Do not include personal or sensitive information in search queries. You can use Photos or Files instead and avoid online search entirely.

Web search and external links

Web search opens your browser. The search provider receives the text you choose to search and applies its own privacy settings and policy. Other websites and email apps you open are outside LifeSize. Printing and sharing

When you choose Print or Share PDF, the selected image and print layout are supplied to Apple's system printing or sharing interface. Your chosen printer, app, print provider, or recipient receives what you choose to send. Lincoln Technologies does not receive a copy through this workflow. PDFs may include the project name and public source credit. Check the destination and content before sharing.

Accounts, purchases, and tracking

LifeSize does not require an app account and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not use this app to track you across other companies' apps or websites or sell your personal information. Apple handles the upfront App Store purchase and any applicable purchase records under Apple's privacy policy. LifeSize does not receive your payment-card details. No subscription or per-print credit purchase is offered in this version.

Retention and your choices

Local projects remain until you remove the app or its stored data. Generated PDFs and downloaded search data may remain in the app's temporary/cache storage until the system clears them or the app is removed. Removing LifeSize deletes its on-device container; exported PDFs, original Photos items, recipient copies, and prior device backups are managed separately by you and their providers. Do not delete the app before exporting projects you want to keep. For third-party search, network logs, Apple purchase records, or backups, use the respective provider's privacy controls and contact process.

Support

If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use it to respond, troubleshoot, and handle related privacy or rights requests. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment details, or unnecessary private photos. We retain correspondence only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. Families

LifeSize is a general-purpose creative tool. It has no child account or public posting system. A parent or guardian should supervise optional web searches, sharing, purchases, and physical cutting. Search filters reduce mature results but do not guarantee that every third-party result is appropriate. Only use pictures you have permission to print or share.

Changes

We will update this policy when the app's data practices change and show the revised date here. Additional cloud processing or paid services would require an updated disclosure and applicable choices before use.

This support website

These static support pages are hosted through Netlify, which receives normal network request information to deliver and protect the site. The LifeSize pages do not add advertising or analytics scripts. Netlify’s privacy information is available at netlify.com/privacy.
